The outsides of the twist Lock are 5/8 but it fits a 1/2in hole. Big waste of time when the description says it fits a â… hole. The black is the item from Amazon, the grey is mine that I'm trying to replace in a Pontiac G6 3rd brake light. I was hoping these would fit the twist Lock holes and I could use standard 194 bulbs in the light housing without rewiring something. Looks decently made if you have ½in holes.

Wrong size, look to be good quality. I have a 1976 chevy C20 these are for new vehicles and are a little smaller

Did not work for my 2006 Sebring. Even after putting in the led bulbs into the sockets both ways as they are polorized.

The product indicates these twist wedge instrument dash sockets are for a 5/8" Hole. They are actually for a 1/2 inch hole and will not work with a 5/8" hole.
