I purchased this for my husband's office who has tons of CDs but doesn't listen to them often. This is a cute replica of an old fashioned player and provides hours of entertainment. While it does not blast the volume it is loud enough to enjoy. He is happy. I am happy. I may buy for others.

Bought this for my 19 yr old daughter and she loves it I think it sounds good especially for how small it is so yes i recommend it She likes that you can take it places as its usb cord charged dont need to be next to a wall outlet once its charged which is very convenient great price and quality

Wish I could give 5 stars. Attractive design/concept but item is not exactly as pictured. Picture shows antique brass clasp, hinges, and speaker covers - the look I wanted. What I got was modern silver chrome clasp and hinges, and antique brass on speaker covers only. The mix of metals looks odd and it's not the feeling I was going for. Also, the first half-beat of each track seems to get cut off. Not a major thing and I could probably deal with that if I weren't already irked by the first thing. Can I replace the hardware myself and/or paint it - yes, but I shouldn't have to is the point.Sound output is what you would expect. Good enough for a desk or small room.

Love this little cutie CD player. Bonus that once it's charged, it's portable!! Or can be placed in locations where a cord is not convenient! Also like the fact that you can connect to your own playlists via your phone/device with it's bluetooth.

The speakers are way better than anticipated for such a small device. The outside material doesn't feel cheap (I ordered the white one) and everything works perfectly.
