Step 1
Dock the 5V2A adapter from the box and the Type-C cable to the CD player and plug it into the socket.
Step 2
Push the switch on the back of the CD player to the left to turn on the CD player power.
Step 3
Put the CD you want to listen to into the CD player's optical drive.
Step 4
Dial to the left to turn on the CD player operating mode and wait for the CD player to read the CD track to listen to music.

My 80 year old mom was so frustrated by streaming, MP3, etc and just wanted a CD player. I bought this for her because I fell in love with how it looked on line. I'm pleased to report the looks in real life do not disappoint! It is the cutest little thing!Hardly takes up any space. The sounds is fine. It doesn't compare to her Sonos speakers, but it plays CDs clearly and the sound fills the room. We both love it. I'm getting one for myself -- this Gen X'er misses CDs too!

The player is okay, but the charging cord didn't work. We had to buy another cord. Since the item was packaged and shipped by Amazon, there was no way to contact the seller, and Amazon was too busy after Christmas to get through online.

I got this as I have a Sony Dream Machine that isn't playing the CD's any more. I find the music sounds better with an actual CD player rather than through my phone. I love the retro look to this and the sound is great. Only downside is that when you do engage the CD player, the top volume "CD MODE" does hurt the ears. I wish the volume would save where I had it. But, it is minor.
