Worked well in my 2001 Tahoe where I replace the turn signal bulbs with SYLVANIA ZEVOs. This caused the hyperflash issue. Looked at various options and most of the generic options required some trimming to make it fit. I figured paying a few bucks more to get an exact fit was worth it since it is winter here and I didn't want to spend more time than I had to in the cold. This does not have the locking tab like the original but it fits tight enough where I can't image it can work loose. Pretty much plug & play.

Had to get relay when I changed to led blinker bulbs. First I bought the $9 generic one that didn't fit at all. So I sprung for this in hopes it would fit. It fit perfectly for a 99-03 style Silverado and solved my hyper flash issues from the led bulbs.

Recently upgraded the headlights & turn signals on my 1999 suburban to LED bulbs and the factory turn signal relay caused a “hyper flash” issue due to the lower power draw of the LEDs. Purchased this product and it’s a direct fit replacement. This product clears up any hyper flash, and now the turn signals (and hazards) flash at the proper interval. The ONLY reason this is not 5 stars is because there is a small, roughly 0.5 second delay when you initially put the turn signal on before it begins flashing properly. Would score this 4.5 stars if I could - small issue, still would recommend this product!

Worked for an LED flasher conversion on a 1999 Chevy Tahoe (OBS). The rear taillights already had resistors though in the taillight assembly, so I don’t known if that affected. It fit right in, no need to modify.

If you have a 2001 Chevy Silverado and upgraded to LED lighting the CEC Industries EF29L LED Flasher will take care of the "hyper flashing". I read many reviews for other LED Flasher relays that stated they would work in a 2001 Chevy Silverado, to correct the "hyper flashing", but they do not fit in the relay holder. The relay is under the steering wheel knee knock plate. I tried several brands of relays only to find some LED Flashers would not fit in the relay holder. Had some that were just Electronic relays that did not correct the "hyper flashing" as the reviews stated. The CEC Industries EF29L LED Flasher fits in the OEM relay holder and corrects the "hyper flashing".

2001 Yukon. Pull the driver side lower panel, pull out the old relay and plug in this new one. It is a bit smaller that the original, just watch your pin orientation on the old unit. Other than that it is good quality and works just fine. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Replaced all my turn signals with LED. Did the research and this was the one. Less than 5 minutes to install.Remove the bezel around the instrument panel with your fingers.(2) 7 MM screws removed from lower panel and the flasher unit is hiding behind the fuse panel. Nice location GM.Put it back and you are good to go.Pros: Fixes Hyper Flash from LED replacement. No resisters required.Cons:Not very loud so if you have the radio on loud you may not hear the flasher.Overall great fix!
