This is a great item for installing a ceiling fan on a non-level ceiling. The shaft diameter is a perfect match to the down-tube of my ceiling fan. It mounts solidly and easily handles the weight of the fan, making for a safe installation. This is a great value for cathedral ceiling fan instalation.

This is more than likely strong enough for any size ceiling fan. Just make sure you measure the actual size of the box in the ceiling where this attaches because one of my fans had a box that was too small so I had to use the old adapter. This design seems to be universal but the sizes can vary. I have about 4 different brackets and this one is the best/thickest.

Had everything I needed to install it on none of the slope ceiling, but a horizontal ceiling as well ceiling as well
