Zing Ear ZE-109 ceiling light switch specifications :

  2. Switch Material: Plastic Body , Function: On-Off switch for fan lights.
  3. ZE-109 2-wire pull chain switch compatible with ceiling fan light and lighting fixtures.
  4. It can also replace the pull chain switch of incandescent , halogen, led bulb and lamp.
  5. ZE-109 fan light replacement part compatible with Hampton Bay, Hunter, Westinghouse, Harbor Breeze, Kichler, and Casablanca ceiling fans.

zing ear 109 E89885 pull chain switch Wiring Steps For Ceiling Fans:

  1. Make sure that the replacement light switch has 2 wires.If there are 3 wires, A 3-wire switch is required, such as:ze-110 switch.
  2. First, cut the two wires from the existing switch using utility knife or wire stripper.
  3. Then, strip black wires around 1/2 inch，Connect one black wire from the light switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan.
  4. Next, connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan.
  5. Twist the wire clockwise or fix the links between wires with nuts(Connection of wires must be secured, otherwise, it may result in fire hazard, electrical shock).

Notes:

Before rewiring any ceiling fan, turn off electrical current at source by turning off circuit breakers. CAUTION: Failing to disconnect power supply to ceiling fan may cause serious injury or death.

This worked great with our Harbor Breeze fan. Good quality and great replacement. This was used for our light switch.

Installed it myself on a Hunter fan/light and it controls the light just like it's supposed to. Only thing preventing 5 stars is the screw-on nut that holds it in place seemed plastic to me. I just used the original metal nut instead. Not really something that you notice on a daily basis anyway.
