I absolutely love this fan. I love the remote control that let's you do so many things such as fan speeds and lighting. Very low noise level compared to the amount of air that it puts out. I highly recommend this fan

Best part of this style fan is that the top mounting has plenty of room for the pesky remote receiver. This makes it very quick to install compared to trying to stuff those things in tiny mounts. From other reviews, apparently their fan worked out of the box, this one didn't, that was made worse by the confusingly worded instructions for pairing the remote.DC fans are love and hate, light, quiet and quick to install but you are doomed if you loose the remote or the receiver goes bad and you cannot rely on wall switches for dimming, individual control.When the fan didn't initially work I went to look for the remote pairing as that is typical with these types of fans.The instructions said press the "fans" on/off "buttons" for 5 seconds. Ok well there's a power, a light, and a fan. I tried the fan with no luck pairing. Why is buttons plural? should i press fan and light on off separately? i'm not sure. It came with another instruction sheet included which said turn off the power for 10 minutes, turn off, then press the "general off" for 5 seconds at the same time.I assume general off is just "off" meaning the main off button. But the instructions imply i should be pressing something at the same time. Same time as what? while turning on the power? tried both neither worked.Anyways after pulling out my tester i confirmed power was going to the receiver, to the fan so i suppose i received a defective one or defective remote after trying every possible combination to pair from the various instructions above. Multiple sets of batteries were tried and remote LED prooved they were good.The listing also said a 50 inch light but i'm not measuring more than 46-48 from blade across center of light to blade. Maybe i'm measuring wrong or fan specs are measured differently.Given the difficulty and dubious size, i'd normally give it 3 starts, but it is nice looking and apparently most receive a working unit. If mine was working and i had to pair i'd probably deduct a star if i couldn't understand how to pair it quickly which i think would have been the case here. Needs clearer instructions.I tried the app but it was equally confusing how to pair and to be fair i didn't spend a lot of time on it as i was pretty sure mine wasn't working by that point.

Directions are not translated to english well. The phone app is a cheap 2 star app and my remote wont even connect to it. Fan speed 1 is very fast. Remote holder doesnt fit over a light switch plate so must mount directly on wall or not at all. Light cover is plastic not glass. Dim and brightness work great.

Bought this for my son-in-law for his birthday. The fan in his office stopped working and he did the research and picked this one. I went over after he installed it and was amazed at all of the features that could be controlled by a remote control. He’s very happy with the item.

What a horrible, cheap fan - screw stuck in the ball, wires undone and unable to pull wire through to hook up light. Certainly not worth the money-

It's surprising how much something as simple as adding a ceiling fan to a room can change the look and feel. This fan could easily upgrade any room in both looks and functionality.What caught my eye first with this fan was its modern-looking design. I got the black model, and it adds a nice touch of elegance to the room. It also has all the features you would want, like multiple speeds and reversible blades. You can change the color warmth of the LED light to match either your mood or the styling, and this can be done with the remote or via an app. Personally, I just went with the remote, but inevitably, when I lose the remote, it's nice knowing I can control it with my phone.Installation is pretty standard to most fans, and the difficulty is more determined by where it is being installed than the fan itself. There is an installation video that helps, and I suggest taking a look before diving in. I would also suggest deciding which side of the blades you want to use before starting the installation because changing them out halfway is a bit of a pain.Overall, this is a great fan for most rooms, and it moves a lot of air while doing so quietly. There is lots of control with the app and the remote, and it looks fantastic in my room, instantly upgrading the looks. I have no issues recommending this to anyone looking for a ceiling fan.WHAT I LIKED:• Nice modern look• Lots of control with remote or app• Quiet• Moves lots of air• Reversible bladesWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:• Like most fans, the blades aren't the easiest to install.

I ordered this ceiling fan for my spare bedroom to replace an outdated 25 year old one and this one looks so modern in comparison, I chose the nickel one. also the operation of the fan is much smoother and quieter. This ceiling fan checks off all the boxes for me, I like that the fan is 6 speed vs. the usual 3 speed and moves the air quietly and efficiently, it's 50" and has a reversable DC motor, the light has 3 colour temperatures, 3000K, 4500K (however the video says 4000K) and 6000K, all dimmable and everything is controlled with the supplied remote that comes with a holder for the wall. Installation was made much easier after watching the video. I can't comment on the use of the app, I don't have a need for it, but maybe you do.

I opted for the more wood color blades to face down and they look so darn good.I put this in my living room and my wife liked it so much we got another for our bedroom.Im a hot sleeper and this thing moves A LOT of air, even on the medium setting.Its very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the air moving around.The light is nice an bright, it also changes color temperatures so the more sunset-ish colored one is nicer to have while reading and the brighter one is nicer to have in the mornings.The app control works pretty good on this but i prefer the remote control as its much faster than opening an app and waiting for it to connect, then adjusting it.Build quality is pretty good, its nothing crazy but its well made, came with the hardware for install other than the tools and so far im very happy with them (and so if my wife, so WIN WIN!)

With app and remote to control all of the fan functions, this is incredibly easy and ideal for areas where it is often difficult to control, or where you require off/on times while away.The style and finish is impeccable. With a beautiful modern style that is basic, yet classy classic. While the colour is beautiful in rich texture black or wood accented look. And a sleek, modern blade shape that produces great circulation while having a modern, classy style even while still.The LED light portion is a solid, single flat globe style. With great output in variable tones. Completely adjustable for dimming and provides excellent nightlight ambience as well. A great advantage to have visibility or warm, romantic glow at night.The air circulation is excellent and it provides great all around performance for the money. A beautiful fan that is easy to install, maintain and use.
