The medallion arrives primed so I simply painted 2 coats of paint the same color as my ceiling (Kilim Beige - SW). The first medallion arrived as the incorrect pattern but they quickly replaced it with no hassle. I ordered a size that was as large as the globe in the fixture. (Ignore the bulbs because they’re daylight and I should have purchased a ‘warm light’ bulb. They’re on their way.) FYI, the fixture came from Amazon too.

I wasn't expecting anything super expensive looking, however this was very cheap looking and there was no way to attach it without gluing it to the ceiling. I returned it.
