Your cart is empty.Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. This is a beautiful piece that has a depth to it. A lot of them are pretty flat, where this has the raised center design that adds a little extra. Material it’s made with is a foam like material. Was easy to use finishing nails to hold it to the ceiling. So, if you ever wanted to take it down, it would be no big deal using finishing nails instead of glue. It’s primed and nice white ceiling color. was able to hang without painting on our white ceiling. Highly recommend over the plastic definitely looks better out of the box.

I love the details and ease of assembly on the ceiling with the pendant. A bit pricey for what it is made of, to be honest.

As advertised and looks great. I ordered a primed in white piece which I finished with an uneven, poorly applied coat of whatever I had on hand ... when I see the installed piece under the light fixture it looks great. Electrician had to make special allowance for the depth because I didn't let them know about this in advance. My costly mistake. Size was hard to decide upon initially. I used a ratio I found just researching quickly in advance of installation. Medallion size was accurate, light fixture was not. Can be hard to guess these things when ordering from online descriptions. Product here was accurately described. I am happy with it and have received many compliments on it.

Looks real compared to molded plastic medallion from the hardware store. I used a little caulk around the edge to make it look built in and gorilla glue’s construction grade to hang it.
