Good wide field of view but extremely poor eye relief, not the sharpest, poor quality build! Have the BINTEL version of this EP which was superior. Would not buy again. Should have paid more on a TeleVue or Explorer Scientific for decent quality gear.

Without question it is a very nice piece especially for the price. I have not used it yet but I expect the usual Celestron clarity. It is very well made of metal construction. It is the biggest of the three 2 inch eyepieces I own. Easy to use by anyone. Iook forward to a clear night. I looked at a lot of eyepieces before deciding on this one. That included pieces in the 38 mm range and the couple of 40s out their with bigger FOV. Weighing reviews, quality, and cost it came down to this one.

It's a large piece,good weight and seems well built.im using on a 12" dobson and it gives crystal clear images of the night sky very happy.
