The 1.25" Eyepiece and Filter Kit is a great starting kit for anyone getting their first instrument or for anyone looking for a good accessories base on which to build on.
The astute astronomer will recognise the terrific value offered in this kit: the eyepieces range is better suited to the average astronomer than similar eyepieces and filters kits from other (famous) brands: indeed the selection of focal lengths delivers increased versatility by reducing the low focal lengths eyepieces.
The low focal lengths eyepieces are often promoted as a good option delivering high magnifications: if it is true the magnification is higher, it is always at the cost of image quality and sharpness and in practice simply less useful and enjoyable.

I was looking for my first set of color filters for my Orion XT8 and came across these. Since they were less than half the price of the name brand filters, I set low expectations. I have not used any of the higher end filters but these definitely do the job as advertised. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely check out some of their other products going forward.

The threads seemed a little inconsistent. The yellow filter screwed into the eyepieces easily but the others were a little tighter for some reason. They all worked though and helped me see the cloud bands along Jupiter's equator in my small telescope.

The quality was good. The only thing I changed was I ordered four individual cases, so I would have to take all four filters with me.

After doing some research I decided on these filters as a good buy. I tried them for fit on my eyepiece and they fit well.

They aren’t very high quality. There were ripples in two of the lenses causing significant distortion.

This set of telescope eyepieces and filters is good value for the money. They are well built. There is enough room in the case for the 2 eyepieces coming with my new 8" Orion Skyquest plus the collimating eyepiece and my eyepiece cleaning tool.

the filters screw in easily into the eye pieces allowing for viewing in different light spectrum.Fit and standard 1.25" Telescope optics. the provided carrying case it cushioned to protect everything inside and makes it easy to bring along in the metal casing.

Delivery was quick. Seem to be very good quality. Fit all lens that I have attached them to, including a CMOS camera. Made a huge difference when capturing Jupiter and Saturn.........see attached photo of Saturn using the 82A filter from this filter set. Well done Solomark!
