This was an excellent replacement for my broken 2200 ignitor. It fit perfectly and all the wires were pre fitted, so it all went together esaily.It operates flwlessly. Does not come with a battery. I would highly recommend this if you need to replace your ignitor on your Webber grill.

I had a hard time figuring out the appropriate replacement ignitor for my last century Weber Genesis model 1000 grill. This item worked perfectly. I had tried to see if the ignitor box large tab would fit just trying from the outside, but it seemed that the tab was a bit large. I was prepared to file.the tab down to work, but when I retried from the inside, as required, the wires and tabs fit as needed with a little bit of jiggling the box to get the large tab through the hole in the grill base. My quarter century old grill seems to work as new again. The item was very satisfying and saved several hundred dollars to replace the grill.

IT worked find for the first 45 days no problem. Just went out to use the grill for the first time in 2 weeks and the button doesn't work any more, was not pleased. Amazon says thy can't help (or the lifeless AI bot says it), but I left a review and two-3 days later they contacted me and made arrangements to send me another one in a timely manner.Only wish is they had a way to reach support directly versus leaving a review but a pleasure to work with.

I’m on my second replacement igniter. This once is better than the last, in that, the wires are longer. It fits perfectl]y.

The igniter button FELL OFF. The igniter which provides the spark was bent as was the metal piece of the igniter which attaches to the BBQ. Useless. Don't buy this product.Update: The seller initially offered a refund which I thought was fair given bad product. So I requested the refund. Everything seemed fine and then I received a follow up email from them 4 days later. Just read it below. Now they will only 'consider' a refund if a comply with their requests. I repaired the two bent pieces and glued the button back together and now the igniter just works sometimes. I am NOT going to send them photos etc. as I have already reassembled everything, so they can now 'consider' a refund. Very slimy. Read their response below.This is their latest response.Regarding your request for a full refund, we want to make sure we fully understand the situation before proceeding. Once we have verified the details of your grill model and compatibility with the product, we will consider offering you a full refund. Please provide us with your grill model as well as pictures of the broken product so that we can accurately assess the situation and take appropriate action.The vendor has once again contacted me 'offering' to refund but they will not refund the shipping costs. I have yet to see ANY money refunded and find the vendor EXTREMELY difficult to deal with. It's a nightmare I didn't see coming.After an epic runaround... finally refunded full amount.

Replaced a non functioning igniter for my old Weber Q grill with this aftermarket product. It rocks! Built well, lights on the first push, easy to install and best of all, no battery! Thanks to the manufacturer for a rock solid after market product. I smile every time I light the BBQ grill.
