Bought for a cat with a long history or wolfing down her food. This bowl does seem to slow her down and the elevation allows her more comfort. I love that this bowl ticks all the boxes, ceramic ✅ raised ✅ slow feeder ✅ cute ✅. The ridges in the bowl are not obnoxious to where it causes discomfort for a cat’s teeth, but still deep enough to keep her from scarfing her food. Bowl seems very sturdy, is heavy enough that she can’t move it while eating.

Love this raised puzzle slow feeder cat bowl. My poor cat since she is now older was vomiting every day. A friend suggested a slow feeded bowl. I checked into them and liked this one since it was raised. It is working wonderful for her. Thank you

I got these hoping it would help with my cats eating too fast & throwing up.. it seems to have made a bit of a difference- I just feed them in smaller amounts + the bowl seems to make a difference. they are easy to clean, I haven’t had any issues with chipping yet. plus they’re cute& I believe it better for cats to eat in more of an upright position.only 4 stars because I haven’t had them that long but so far so good

One of my boys has had a pattern of vomiting almost immediately after meals. I tried changing the food (even prescription food for sensitive tummies), checking him out at the vet for any other underlying issues and nothing was found…my vet said it could simply be eating too fast and told me about slow feeders! I found these raised slow feeder bowls to ease the need to hunch over and slow down his eating…and they also match the new drinking fountain I bought! So far, no vomit! I’m super happy with them:)

I noticed the glaze had a few chips in after the first time I used it. I thought it must have just been a manufacturing flaw. I have been gentle with the bowl, only used it a few times, and hand washed it. A kitten was able to do this damage so I can only assume what some of the big dogs I see in the review pictures are doing.The chipping means your cat or dog are eating the ceramic glaze material which is probably sharp/hard/comprised of weird chemicals. Honestly this item is a safety hazard to pets and shouldn’t be sold on Amazon.

Just got them today! I love how wide it is for my cats whiskers. it feels very sturdy and doesn’t slip easily. very mentally stimulating bc of the slow feeder design. my cat is always excited for mealtimes and more with this bowl! it matches his height perfectly so he doesn’t have to strain his neck anymore.
