I got this for my foster kitten who was eating too fast. This has definitely slowed him down, which is better for his digestion and better for the other cats who don't want him stealing their food. It seems well made, solid, and heavy enough to not tip over easily, though I am careful when washing it so as not to let it slip.He either has a hard time getting all the wet food out of the crevices or he's too lazy to work at it. He has no issue with dry food in it. Once the canned food dries it's a little harder to clean than a regular dish but soaking in warm water makes it easy to wash.I like the height and tilt of it, plus it is cute. Would definitely recommend to others.

I get it, this was made for a cat, but ANY dog owner with a short snout small breed will love this thing. We have a little fat Shih Tzu who was getting indigestion from the speed and angle she had to eat at. This instantly solved both problems. It is elevated about 4"'s keeping her esophagus level while eating, tilted slightly towards her face making it easier to get to the food without bending, and has ridges in the bowl keeping her from just scarfing it all down too fast. I am going to buy another one to have in reserve just in case anything happens to this one. Also, it feels REALLY made well. It is ceramic, painted and heavy. She does not move it around when eating unlike her old bowl. What a great product!

The bowl isn't very heavy; it's ceramic so it's definitely sturdy and sanitary. The gaps inside the bowl do make it a teeny bit harder to wash, but it's definitely doable if washed after the cat ate.My cat loves her food a bit too much and would gobble large chunks, resulting in choking and puking everything out. But ever since eating from this bowl, my cat has eaten a lot slower and has not vomited. I would say this bowl serves its purpose with my fat lady.

the slow feeder overall is okay. However there are two main flaws.1) It broke after 1+ month of use. Not daily use either. I never put it in the dish washer because of flaw #22) the bottom has rubber stoppers. But it comes off easy and just gets in the way. I threw them away. If you put it in the dish washer, water gets trapped inside the bowl and it's a pain to get it all out.overall, I do not recommend this item.

Mein Kater frisst endlich langsamer und kotzt nicht alles gleich wieder raus, weil er schlingt. Außerdem wirft er das Futter seltener aus dem Napf, wahrscheinlich weil der Napf höher steht. Er macht den Napf jetzt auch fast leer, anstelle wie bisher die Hälfte übrig zu lassen.

This is probably the 5th slow-feeder bowl we've tried with our voracious cat. Most slow feeders are too light in weight and have grooves too deep for him to reach the food, so he just immediately gets frustrated and flips it over, knocking food everywhere. This bowl is heavy enough that he can't do that. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the grooves are quite shallow, so I'm not sure it really slows him down that much, but he hasn't scarfed and barfed once since we started using.

The size is very small. I bought it for my cat as he eats too fast.I have put it on a tin to raise it higher off the floor.It has slowed him down which is what I wanted for him.It is good quality & easy to use. It's nice to have ceramic options available.I would recommend for very small pets.

The 4 rubbers at the bottom of the bowl fell off. They were loose. Now when I wash the bowl water gets in the 4 holes. Wouldn't have been good if one of my cats swallowed one
