Makes a boring task faster, more consistent and a bit easier. Once you set this sharpener up, its pretty easy to give each tooth a touchup. Only takes a couple minutes to sharpen a whole chain so you can go back to work.

This does make sharpening a chainsaw chain much easier by clamping the device to the chain bar and spinning the chain for alignment. You get several files which work really well. Overall I'd say this was a good value purchase.
