I have literally layed out miles of walls with these when building skyscrapers. I wouldn’t buy any chalk box without an aluminum gear ever again. The plastic gears that most chalk boxes have get too caked up with chalk after a while and then it’s more difficult for them too spin against one another which causes them to strip out. The aluminum gears last for years before that happens.

I’ve been using this line for a couple years now and it’s still popping lines. Don’t be an idiot and put to much dust in it and you will be fine

This is awesome chalk box, very durable. Made with metal instead of plastic like most. I definitely recommend this chalk box it will last a lifetime
