Body of gauge is die-cast brass, all one piece. Small and compace, it does not take up much space. Gas must be on and connected to appliance for gauge to measure properly. I like the multiple scales which help compensate for temperature differences. The gas and tank get colder as gas flows out and pressure is reduced, so bear this in mind when reading the gauge. No leaks that I found. Make sure connections are tight and test with soapy water or window cleaner before using.

it leaks I didn't like it when trying to return it . Would not let me print out a return label. Have to take it to the return store. I live 50 miles from one not a happy customer.I
