There is nothing I can say bad about these LEDs. They are much brighter than the 12-year-old ones I had to replace. Def worth getting for any project you have out there!

Very bright, very white at 150mA and maybe too bright at the rated max of 250mA.I mean, you can't look directly at it.At 10mA it is brighter( and whiter) than a #47 incandescent bulb.

These 8mm sized LEDs are spec'd at 80ma current as distinct from garden-variety 5 or 10 mm, 20 ma types.

Works great. I needed these to fix my Mario lamp that had 2 LEDs die within a month of getting it. Now I'm gonna have to find other reasons to use the rest of these

Did not find any data-sheet at all for this product! If I want to know any dimension other than the 8mm barrel, I have to measure it myself!The only electrical characteristics I could gather are VF = 3.0 to 3.2 Volt; IF = 250mA; and PF = 0.75Watt.Unless you have a 3-volt power supply, you should be very careful choosing a resistor for these LED's.The resistor's power rating must be greater than IF * ( Vin - VF ).So if you're planning on powering this from 5 Volts for example, you'll need a resistor that is bigger than half a watt!Due to lack of large resistors in my junk-box, I wound up adding a small resistor in the Base to Emitter path of a power transistor to regulate 250mA.

I'm using these for homemade solar lights and I haven't had any problems with them. Hopefully this formatting doesn't get mangled, but here is the data I took for the VI curve:Volts milliamps=============2.65 92.70 182.74 282.78 392.81 492.84 582.90 782.96 993.03 1203.08 1393.13 1593.18 1803.22 200I've seen some negative comments where people seem to be saying they just hooked them up to a battery (with no current-limiting resistor) and they immediately fried. Please look up some tutorials on using LEDs if this is you. These aren't a direct replacement for incandescent lamps -- you need an appropriately sized current-limiting resistor for your application or they will fry. That is expected behavior for using them without current limiting resistors.

Loved this super bright LEDs. See the image for the example. Here I actually used two LEDs as I wasn't sure if it would be bright enough to light up properly but even one LED is actually good enough.
