Upgraded Fly Fan for Indoor & Outdoor
This year we upgraded the fan blade of the fly fan with a larger holographic pattern on the fan blade, which refracts a wider range of light and has a greater impact on the fruit flies, flies, wasps, gnats and mosquitoes. The holographic pattern on the blades of the fly deterrent fan for table refracts light as it rotates to irritate the fly's eyes and creates wind as the blades rotate, both of which are danger signals for flies and keep them away from your food and drink.

I was looking for fly fans after I learned such sorcery existed. I looked at many. I also wanted value for my money. The majority of the ones I saw were battery operated, or work with USB, but had to remain plugged, which isn't practical. I only found this brand and another brand with rechargeable batteries. Initially, I ordered the from the other brand. 1 out 3 came damaged out of the box. Took a very long time to charge and the fan blades were mostly hanging. Also, they are tricky to turn on. I'm hosting an outdoor party and the flies aren't invited. I needed more fans and I liked the look of these but the selling point was rechargeability. I ordered the box of six. First thing I noticed the weight of the box felt substantial. The box of other brand felt light. I telescope each and put in the blades to my surprise they are all charged. The on button is on the bottom and works without having to press hard and guess if you just turned them and right off. That's an issue with the other brand. Also these immediately began oscillating, the other ones are slow starting and a few times I had to slightly push the blade to get them going. The blades on these are all straight out, with maybe a very slight bend on the ends but they are soft and that is expected. So, I'm impressed. Only four stars because once telescoped they won't go back in. However, that is clearly stated on the instructions, although not sure if on the description. To me is no big deal. The other ones are one piece. All in all I will see how long the battery lasts. The other ones have a very long battery life. I will test these until they die and see how long they lasted. Hopefully a very long time. Once I have tried them and see them working outdoors full time I will come back and update my review. I tested the other ones to see if the flies would stay away and they do. So, hopefully, these too will pass the most important test. The fly test. If all goes as it should, these are keepers.

Could not fully open 2 out of 3 fly fans.The 1 that does work is great—looks good and is effective as described.Very disappointed in the other two.

We had a Fourth of July party outdoors. I bought three of these and they worked fantastically. Kept the flies away, and they were a hit.
