I like to hang out on my back porch a lot and sometimes I leave the door open too long and my house gets invaded with flies. These strips work great at attracting and sticking the flies at one point I had over 30 plus flies on our outside strip! They are very durable and easy to use. They come with a tack to put into the ceiling, however if using outside I suggest something stronger like a nail because the tack is not strong enough for wind. Inside the tack works great. They are a bit difficult to pull down but for the price they are well worth it!

We've been experimenting with fly ribbons for many years (home, work, warehouse, etc).Pic has always been, and remains, the most effective. It's because they add something like linseed oil to the ribbon, which acts as an attractant (has kindof a sour smell). But it appears they recently changed their formula to have less smell (and less attractant), probably due to customer complaints about smell. Argh.I found an old box of Pic ribbons, and hung an old one next to a newer one - the old one caught twice as much. Regardless, even the new Pic catches more than any of the others we've tested (Raid, Victor, Catchmaster, etc etc). This 30-pack is a great deal, currently $6 Prime. I hung one in the kitchen last night because we've had fuit flies hanging around, and the Raid strip I hung there hadn't caught anything. Overnight, it caught 14 fruit flies (didn't even know I had that many), AND a moth AND a mosquito!I can't vouch for different insects in different parts of the country (I'm writing in the midwest). But in my experience, the Pic catches anything that flies - moths, flies, gnats, fruit flies, mosquitos, even wasps. For price... Walmart used to carry these at $2.88 per 10-pack. So I consider anything under 30¢ each a good price. I haven't seen Pic in stores for a long time, not even the local hardware stores, so I'm glad I found a good deal on Amazon.

These things work exactly as described. They are a bit of a pain getting them pulled out and don’t dare let it touch your skin. Very sticky, but that’s why they work so good. We had little gnats in the house and they were all gone within a few days and covered the fly strip. Great for house and campers.

Not a single fly got stuck to these. However, one baby gecko got stuck to this. I rescued the little guy and took them down as it made a mess everywhere cuz our trade winds blew them against the walls and now I gotta find something to clean that sticky nasty stuff. The fly bags from Home Depot caught several hundred but can only be used outside cuz it smells like a rotting dead fish, which attracts the nasty insects to them. These things are completely useless and cause you more clean up work.

what can I say but sticky on fly paper. this product been around several decades, maybe more, and different manufactures. weird but i could not find any at Lowe's and Home Depot. great amazon has them. there is a tac that comes with each packet so if you want to pin the ribbon to something. Be very careful you don't get anything on yourself. If you do washing with soap and water does not remove the sticky stuff. I found the best way rid yourself of the sticky stuff is rub with two or three drops of oil. you can use cooking oil or baby oil even vaseline.
