This tool works well and makes pitting cherries so much easier and faster. It’s a bit messy, but that’s to be expected when working with cherries. It’s also plastic so feels cheap-wont last a life-time but works for now. Overall, it’s a handy gadget to have in the kitchen.

Bought this since my toddler now loves cherries, and we were spending too much time cutting them around the pit. This lovely little gadget allows us to de-pit a cherry with a little hand squeeze, and then move on to the next item my toddler decides he wants to eat. It has been very helpful. You do need to squeeze, and I recommend doing it over a garbage can or sink because there is some mess. Nothing is as messy as a toddler though, so it isn't that bad.

Works well, pits 7 cherries at a time. You just have to push down hard and in one solid motion. If you go too slowly or try to be gentle, the pits may not come out all the way. Even if they don't come all the way off this is still way easier than pitting one at a time with a knife. Game-changer!

I bought this to make cherry jam. It worked well and easily pitted over 2 lbs of cherries. My 6yo even helped and had no trouble.

I enjoy Kalamata Olives which are easier to find with pits. This little gadget pops the pits right out. Making sure the olive is lined up properly is important. Looking forward to trying it with fresh cherries when they're in season.

Light weight, easy to use and cleans easily by simply running under warm water. I got the color red and I am very pleased with it.Have only used it for pitting cherries so far but I suspect it will work just as well with olives.
