Worked great for my new chicks that I had quit a few of and they were going through my small size one quickly. This one we could get through the day and night. Easy to clean too

These have worked great for our chicks. They are getting bigger now and able to knock the leg from under the water, but otherwise they are sturdy. We definitely need to upgrade to a bigger one though now that they are getting bigger and drink/eat much more.

check the measurements - these are smaller than they look - but great for baby chicks - not for adult chickens

This feeder and waterer combo is excellent for baby chicks. Once I put it in the brooder, one of my baby chicks went to check it out and once she figured it out, the others came over to use it. My only complaint is that my baby chicks do kick their pine shavings into the feeder and waterer, but that’s chickens being chickens - I just need to clean out the pine shavings daily. The feeder and waterer is very solid/well balanced and thankfully has not had any leaks.

These are great for the first few weeks of your chicks' adventure on this planet. Having the waterer on legs is so important to keep the birds from doodling in the water. The feeder is fine, but we set it on a small block to keep them from getting it everywhere. Both are easy to put together, take apart, and clean. Highly recommended!

The legs on the bottom of the waterer work great for the first 3 weeks and help keep poop out of it. But after that the chickens WILL knock it down or over on a daily basis.The same goes for the food, both of these feeders need more weight on the bottom because the chickens just knock them over.The plastic is thick and durable and these are quality items, but the design really makes them fall over very easily if the chickens are running around at all.

I LOVE this waterer! It has FEET! Not only that but they're adjustable to 3 heights. You can sit it flat on the ground, bring the feet down to the first position as the chicks grow and then as they reach a more mature size, you can fold the feet down further and raise the water up even more. Helps to keep bedding and dirt out of the water tray. And if you want to, there's also the wire handle that you can hang the waterer from. My only question is, do they make this in a 5 gal. size? I want more of these but these little 1.5 L sized ones are for babies only (at least on my farm).

They take a beating but have kept up and stayed functional. Best for chicks.
