This little thing gets the job done. It's so much easier than shredding it with two forks. I like it better than the food chopper because I don't have to get out equipment and then clean it all up and put it back. This washes up easily.

I love having shredded chicken around. I hate making shredded chicken. I had a tool similar to this years ago, and it was really poorly done (the design was a bit different), so it didn't really work well. I like to especially try and get as much chicken as I can grilled before the weather gets too cold for the grill outside, but I made several batches last week and used this to shred some of it. It worked amazing, made quick work of the chicken I needed shredded and I should be able to get through most of the super cold months. Super handy, just be sure you keep it out of reach of kids, I have a small plastic shoebox I keep up on a high shelf that holds all my super sharp stuff, including this, and my grandson can't reach to get into it. Great solution to me not wanting to stand around shredding chicken that doesn't want to shred maybe, and I'm not getting hand cramps, or saying forget it and spending more money on pre-cooked stuff.

I like that this comes with accessories and it seems like a decent product, but the plate that is supposed to use to remove the shredded chicken is not there. I exchanged it thinking it was a one off, but it's not. It doesn't have one, which renders it useless to me.
