Honestly, I was worried it would be hard to clean. I thought the spikes would make it difficult. I have not had any issues cleaning and it’s extremely easy to use. I am very happy with my purchase and definitely see myself using it long term

We love our shredded meat. Having discovered this new tool to shred meat has been a time saver. It comes with tongs (doesn’t grip too well), cleaner (very hard), and meat tenderizer (decent), those are all bonuses. At first I placed too much meat and it made it hard to shred, it needs space so keep that in mind. I also found it easier to cut them into smaller pieces vs an uncut chicken tenderloin size. Once I figured that out I went to town and shredded this chicken with a breeze. It was magical and so quick. The plate is not so big like the size of a plate so it doesn’t take up so much space. However I felt the plastic was not as strong enough to last for years like it feels light and possibly easy to crack if not stored properly or even if you drop it. I have a busy and small kitchen with 3 kids so I hope this will stay in tacked. Everything is plastic so just keep that in mind. As far as cleaning goes, I didn’t like the hard brush provided, I think that’s more for a bbq grill. The bristles were too tough. I used my other ones that had softer bristles. Some meat will get stuck and you will need to clean it well to get all the meat and oils off. It’s not that challenging running water will also get most of the stuck meat off. I found this twist tool to be easy to handle and grip, it did well on my granite counter and beat my hands when it comes to shredding. I appreciate that this saves me time and does not take up so much space. It stays on top though of other Tupperware and has a nice spot. Everyone that likes shredded meat should have one of these.
