Create hole(s) using a 3/8" drill bit
Manually screw the auto-fill cup (leave washer attached)into the drilled hole and turn clockwise by the elbow until tight.
Attach wingnut to the exposed threads of the on the inside of the container.

Really liked that these came with the correct size bit for drilling. So easy to drill into whatever you have to adapt for watering chickens. We had some waterers with the nipples on the bottom that the chickens reach up to get water from, but our chickens didn't seem to adapt well to them. We were able to drill into the sides of the waterers and put these cups in, and then suspend the waterers in the air. They fill automatically and are easy to wipe out.

Pretty easy to install. The only negative is that they leak a little. Other then that work perfectly. Stays clean (doesn't pick up a lot of debris). It's my chickens new favorite drinking area!

Was easy to install on new buckets and make watering easy , and able to go several days between watering instead of filling gallon waterers

I was not expecting this to work as well as it does. The chickens and ducks knew how to use it immediately. I put it up on a block to avoid dirt from getting into the cups, but I do still need to rinse out the cups every few days, but it is easy with the garden hose nearby.it does not leak. I was very pleased that the proper size drill bit was included for fool proofing the installation. The only tricky part was threading the nuts on. You have to be careful to have it very straight to avoid cross threading as it is a fine and delicate nylon material. Seems strong as it has been in use for a month without any problem . I have already recommended this system to a few friends.

Work well, easy to install, and love that they come with the correct size bit. Make sure they are completely level though, or they will leak.

leaks and the chickens can easily walk on it and twist it on an angle causing all the water to leak out of the bucket.
