A Kung Fu tea set is used in the Gongfu Cha ceremony, a traditional Chinese tea brewing method that emphasizes precision, multiple infusions, and extracting the best flavors from high-quality tea leaves. A typical Kung Fu tea set includes a gaiwan (lidded bowl) for brewing, a cha hai (fairness pitcher, which is not included here) to ensure even tea strength, small tea cups for sipping, a tea tray to catch spills, and accessories (like tea tongs, and a holder to handle loose leaves and hot cups, also not included.)I to live near a large Chinese community, so I’ve always bought my teas from Chinese tea merchants. This REOWONU tea set is surprisingly delicate and beautiful, perfect for anyone who wants to learn about the Gongfu Cha ceremony and begin drinking remarkably floral and fragrant teas. The set has a very clever rotating pot and hidden filter, which allows you to pour your tea smoothly without leaves falling into the cups. The cups are gorgeously designed on the outside, and a soft, creamy white on the inside, which allows you to appreciate your tea’s color — something that’s extremely important to the Gongfu Cha ceremony. The set also comes with a bamboo drip tray and a travel case for transporting the set to a picnic or a friend’s house.[For the Nerds: The Gongfu Cha ceremony begins by warming the teaware — hot water is poured into the teapot or gaiwan and then discarded to ensure an even brewing temperature. The tea leaves are then rinsed with hot water to remove any dust and “awaken†them before the first proper infusion. The actual brewing process is precise: hot water (typically 195–205°F for oolong, or 175°F for green tea) is poured over the leaves and steeped for only 10–30 seconds, ensuring a concentrated, flavorful extraction. The tea is then poured into a cha hai — the “fairness pitcher,†which is not included in the Reowonu set — before being distributed into small cups, allowing for an even strength in each serving. Unlike Western tea drinking, where a single brew is consumed all at once, Gongfu Cha involves multiple infusions of the same leaves, with the steeping time slightly increasing with each round. High-quality teas can be steeped six to ten times, with flavors evolving from floral and sweet in the early infusions to more earthy and robust in later ones.Drinking the tea is an experience in itself. Slow and mindful sipping allows you to appreciate both the aroma and evolving taste of the tea. The ceremony is often a social or meditative practice, where tea lovers engage in conversation, reflection, or simply enjoy the moment. Gongfu Cha is a refined skill that can be approached as a casual daily ritual or a deeply meditative, almost ceremonial event. Whether practiced formally or informally, it is an immersive way to engage with tea, culture, and the present moment — something we are sadly missing in our modern lives.]

Chinese tea set Gongfu tea set, Portable Teapot Set with 360 Rotation Tea maker and Infuser, kung fu tea set Asia tea set Travel tea set All in One leather Bag (4cups-Sakura) -- Looks cute and well made. Nice gift for a tea lovers. Kinda smaller than expected though. Okay for 1 person using 1 of the cup, not that functional for more people.

I would love this tea set, even if I didn't collect all things tea. I know it's a traditional style of tea set, but it's not something I'd ever seen in person. It's as cool as it looks in the pictures and videos. The design is beautifully detailed in all the important ways but classically simple overall. The porcelain is fine and light, the ceramic handle is genius, and the lid's ceramic handle and "button" are perfect finishing touches. The pour spout works well, though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's left-handed.But what really shocked my sister when I poured tea in front of her was the fact that the inner cup rotates smoothly on ceramic points on the inside of the outer cup, so I was able to pour my tea one-handed. This works beautifully, even though it looks like it shouldn't.I could tell from the pictures that this tea set is smaller than a standard European-style tea set or even my Japanese set, but I hadn't realized just how small it is. The tea cups would work as shot glasses except that they're probably too delicate for the way people drink shots, and the pot is only about the size of a regular European-style tea cup. That means a full tea pot only fills two cups full or four cups half full. Those who are familiar with Gongfu tea sets might consider this obvious, but it was new to me. It's still very neat, though! The set comes in a zipper case (not a bag, as you can see in the pictures). It's nicely constructed and sturdy enough to protect the set very well, especially since it has a foam insert with cutouts for all the separate pieces. The foam might not be the most attractive presentation for the set (as a couple other reviewers pointed out), but I'll take that if it means none of the parts of my tea set get damaged in transit. A strap across the top holds the little white tray and its bamboo insert securely, so even the least important parts of the set are unlikely to be damaged.

I have always wanted a tea set like this! It’s perfect. It comes in a nice leather case with a zipper. It makes the set portable but also protects it. Inside, there’s foam to keep the pieces from moving around and breaking. There is a steeper with a tea bag holder, lid, and screw-on handle. There are also four tea cups. They all fit snugly into the foam. There’s also a tray in the case for you to put the set on while you steep and pour the tea.I got the Sakura color teapot set. I love cherry blossom trees, and this one comes with a bare cherry blossom tree on each piece. When you fill the steeper with hot water and then the cups with hot tea, the cherry blossom trees bloom, and a beautiful pink appears around the tree branches. I love this teapot set. I highly recommend it.

Want to make your tea loving guest jealous? LOL I LOVE this set. I had a few ladies over from my networking group to break it in and it was quite the hit! From the moment I pulled out the case it came in to the serving of the tea, everyone was impressed, esp me!Great quailty, beautiful set. Its really very well packaged so it arrived without any broken or chipped pieces. There is a big label on the case, and its hard to get off. I decided to just leave it on.Really cute set and great for getting conversations started.
