This review is for the BESBEZOS 8.5†x 11â€, 25 Sheets of 40 Point Chipboard. I do a lot of crafting and die-cutting with thick steel rule dies, and this chipboard is perfect for adding dimension to your scrapbooking layouts.Despite the fact that it arrived bent at the corners, this product is ideal for creating journals, book covers, DIY projects, framing photos, and much more. Because of the weight of this product, the manufacturer should consider using sturdier product packaging.The actual chip board is made out of good quality material. It measures 1mm in thickness, which is ideal for most craft projects.

I've used these for model building, bookbinding, scrapbooking, and backing my original artwork when I frame it, and they've done well with all of it. The 1mm thickness is sturdy enough for most projects, though making a truly hardcover book will require gluing a couple of these together.It's a bit frustrating that the packaging doesn't use corner protectors to keep the chipboard from getting damaged when someone in a warehouse or shipping facility inevitably drops the package expecting it to be lighter than it is. That would be a nice update for the manufacturer, and result in fewer bent/soft corners for the purchaser to work around; it's not a huge deal in scrapbooking or backing photos, but it can be an issue for bookbinders.

These are great for when you want to bag & board something. I ship a lot of flat paper items, and I love using these inside the bag for extra protection. They have a clean, professional look and are quite sturdy. Very happy with this item.
