The holes on the side of the needles instead of on the tip helps to prevent fat from clogging the holes in the needles. I suspect most people purchasing the Injector System are doing so to inject pork butts or shoulders. Both of which contain a lot of fat. I found it impossible to use the system with the original needles supplied with the system. The holes which are on the tip of the needles clogged every time they were inserted into the butt and they are very hard to clear. These needles do not clog and work very well. Using these needles improve the system by leaps and bounds.

My husband uses these and really appreciates the fact that these injector needles work so well. The points are sharp and enter the meat easily and the holes are large enough that they don't clog up with the seasoning. I will definately buy these again if I need to replace them.

These are a great addition to the original needles supplied with the chop’s meat injector. Again these are an up sell as were the metal needle holders and for the price of the Chop’s meat injector these should’ve come with it as it was $110. That being said if you inject meat the Chop’s meat injection system is the only way to go. A brisket can be fully injected in about 5 minutes and I mean fully injected. These dual opening needles reduce the time to inject even further as the inject two different directions at the same time so are well worth it to buy separately.

For the price I didn’t expect it to kept clogging up. It took us hours to inject one turkey. I even ordered the thickest needles and they still clogged up. There wasn’t anything whole in the seasonings either. I’ve never rated an item because i never want to hurt anyone’s business however if you’re going to charge a premium price you would expect a premium product.
