The advantage of this set of white balance cards is the size. Though I have other smaller cards, these allow you to take a photograph under any light conditions, then easily adjust the WB using Lightroom or Photoshop by clicking on the gray card in the image. The lanyard allows you to attach the cards to your camera backpack or just hang them around your neck. These are an essential part of the photographer's tool kit.

simple and basic tool for anyone who cares about white balance. and you should, especially if you shoot jpeg only or shoot raw and want a reference for post processing.mind you, the cards each feature a different texture on each side. one side is highly textured while the other is as smooth as possible without being glossy. if you know what you're doing you'll appreciate this minor detail. weirdly, a lot of cards lack this.

These aren't even close. If you hold the white card up against a white board or a sheet of paper it is clearly much darker and has a purple hue. If you used this to white balance a photo or video, the color would be WAY off. Completely useless. Do not purchase.

I have used Grey Cards for white balance setting before, but this one is exceptionally durable and compact. It fits well in my small camera travel bag and helps to set the proper color for my photos. I am very glad I made this purchase.

Don't buy this. The black card is OK, but the gray card ss closer to 30% than 18% and the white is not nearly white: it's a faint tint of lavender gray. Totally useless unless all you need black.

The gray seems to be off. I used these on shoots and wish I hadn't. Made my work hard to edit.
