My dog loves this toy—we play with it daily, and it gives her a great workout. I appreciate that she carries it by the rope, keeping the float free from drool. The only downside is that the rope eventually wears out; this is the third one I’ve bought.

Very good toy, perfect for playing with outside and in the pool. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars was that my dogs were able to chew off the rope portion almost immediately. I will definitely get another one as it was such a great pool toy and the body held up very well to even my aggressive chewers.

My Aussie loves this toy. He will retrieve it on land or in the water. I find it easy to throw and can get distance on it. It is not good for tug though, so if you are looking for a tug toy, this will not last, the seams will rip. But as a retrieving toy, this one rocks it! I was disappointed to get a pale lime green one though. I missed the note that said it might be a different color than shown. The blue/orange is much more visible in the water and the snow. I personally will not get another one where I can't pick the color. Wish the seller would have shown both colors in the pictures and let you choose.

I do dock diving with my Belgian Malinois and this product is perfect for that. It floats great and is easy for the dogs to see. It also has enough weight that I can throw it pretty far. So far it has been one of the best floating fetch toys I have and has held up really well with the Malagators!!

I've been using this bumper for over a decade (I've ordered multiples) with my dogs so I have plenty of experience. This is the best water toy for retrieving breeds or any dog who likes to swim. I can throw this further then all the others bc of the rope attached to one end. Twirling it by this rope and releasing it will send the toy flying out over the lake so my best friend can happily retrieve it over and over (and over) again. My buddy looses his mind for this bumper and nom noms it repeatedly as he swims back to me over 50 times a session. Guaranteed to get your lab, doodle, poodle, shepherd (my shep adored it too) or any other breed that loves water exhausted so you can enjoy the rest of your day knowing Coco got a workout. It's durable enough but I only let B have it when we're at the lake and that makes it all the more special. When I see other ppl using sticks to get the same effect I feel sorry for their dogs. Not all sticks are okay for a dog's mouth but also you can't throw them as far and they're not soft yet durable. Don't be cheap with your peppers! Get him/her one. I recommend the neon green color over the orange bc it's easier for dogs to see in the water. Happy dog plunging into the lake!

After seeing another spaniel with this toy I bought it for my cocker spaniel Bertie who adores the water but needs something to be thrown in for him to fetch. After a few weeks of heavy use it's been a massive success and now bought a second one as a spare.I went for the small size as Bertie is a fairly small spaniel and I think it's ideal for him since he can easily pick it up and carry it, I suspect the medium would be a bit too large for him. The toy has a reasonable amount of weight to it and with the string on the end makes it easy to throw it a good distance. It seems to float well in all conditions and the bright colour makes it easy for Bertie to spot and collect, I'd been concerned the green was a bit dull however it's much brighter in real life.Durability is a concern although so far the toy has been holding up fine despite a lot of heavy use but will update the review if it prematurely starts coming apart.So far though it's just been a fantastic purchase. Normally I need to try and find suitable sticks which isn't possible in some areas or they're scarce, many don't throw well and can be hard for Bertie to spot plus there's always the risk of them being chewed on if the action isn't moving fast enough. I've tried balls instead but he struggles to pick them up in his mouth in the water with nothing to push against and smaller balls are harder to spot.

Rettifica recensione: rimane un fantastico gioco x le motivazioni da recensione precedente (che lascio scritta a seguire) ma, non adatto a cani masticatori, il mio amstaff uscendo dall acqua un po' lo morde e si è rotto alla 2°utilizzo al mare, peccato le piaceva moltissimo!Precedente recensione: Fantastico come tutti i giochi chuckit, galleggia benissimo, ha un laccio che ne agevola il lancio e colori intensi x poter essere individuato facilmente dopo il lancio.. Provato con il mio cane ed è letteralmente impazzito di gioia..

Really pleased with this purchase, I would not usually pay this much for a toy but this one is worth it. It floats, it's light, it's easy to throw and easy to see and the dog really loves it. It is NOT a "chew toy" it is a floating, retrieveable toy. I throw it, my dog rushes off into the water to fetch it, she know this is a game of fetch as she would do with her ball. As soon as the dog brings it back I ask her to drop it so I can throw it again. She quickly realises that's what's happening so there is no problem getting her to drop it. I would not leave it with her to let her chew it, that is not the point of it, and she would damage it. It will remain wet for a while, so I put it in a spare poo bag for the rest of the walk and then hang it to dry at home - it dries quickly
