Bought these to hold up insulated work pants, a belt just can’t hang (ha). The suspenders are wide (which makes them comfortable), adjustable and the cam lock clip, grip well without tearing the fabric. I bought them in black and the color is consistent.Overall good quality suspenders

These suspenders work great. I use them to hold up my waders for fly fishing. They lock on tight and don't slip. The elastic is great for when actively climbing over logs, boulders, etc. and you need a little more range of motion. I just got them so I can't speak for longevity, but at $20 a pair, even if they only last a season it's well worth the money.

I would say that this is a 5-star product if you're going to use this in a casual, non-sport scenario. The clamps are pretty impressively engineered, and the price point is very good.If you're going to use these for skiing, though, and as previous reviewers have commented, the clamps are just not strong enough to stay locked onto a pair of ski pants over the course of a typical day, in my experience. The clamps (mostly the fronts) eventually unlock. Using small zip ties definitely helps, but I'm hoping they come up with a "Sport/HeavyDuty" version.

UPDATE: OCT 2022Still find these chums to have the best easy to use clips that have never damaged any type of clothing.THE ONLY ISSUE, as meant to be, these are tough workhorse suspenders for the ruff game of hockey.The plastic clips are amazing but I think along with the string stretchy suspenders themselves, it is awkward to wear under street/office clothing (of you care what people think)Wish company would take what must be a patened clip, and creat a line of regular suspenders with the teck in f the clips.Never seen clasps like this. All hard thick plastic claps, BUT WORK PHENOMENALLY at holding and not coming loose or damaging the fabric compared to any traditional clasps.Not for street or close ware, but for sport... And I am guessing if in working/building etc business, it may be just as good

One of the most important things for me was choosing suspenders that used a grip system that wasn't going to damage my expensive snowpants. Thus, I didn't want metal clips or those with pointy alligator style grips which could potentially make holes in my pants. Well these suspenders use a plastic cam-style grip that holds on to the fabric tightly and they functioned beautifully. I just spent a week snowboarding in Colorado and am very happy to report that these suspenders stayed put on my pants, did not cause any damage to my pants, and most importantly, kept my pants up no matter what I was doing. Glad I bought them. The easily adjustable wide 1.5 inch straps also didn't cause any pain on my shoulders.

Product works. One of the clips is not as well manufactured as the others. During longer hikes it slips off. you should inspect the clips to make sure they are all identical. I did not figure this out until after the return period expired.

My dad was always complaining about having to pull up his ski pants but he refused to get a different size. Got these for him for Xmas and haven’t heard another complaint. He said they are comfortable to wear skiing all day and held up all season

I had to readjust the X adjuster in the back almost every hour.The heavy-duty clips are very tiny and can accidentally come off easily.I am keeping it for the season, but going to look for a different set for the next year.

If you’re a bigger fella like me (6â€5’; 340lbs) these work great and have plenty of room for adjustment. Plastic teeth are smooth and rounded. This is a plus for me for a couple of reasons. Worn daily for work they (like all suspenders I’ve tried) do occasionally come unclipped. The plastic teeth are not sharp metal like others or more formal sets of suspenders. So far they keep their adjustments as well as any I’ve had. The plastic clasp on the back Where they cross over broke after 2 months but I don’t mind as I prefer the fit and feel without it. I have purchased another set and will buy a third if either one fails. I don’t expect them to last forever as I tend to be hard on all my clothes that I wear daily for work.

Should work. But the triangle plastic at the back will slowly creep up behind your neck, until the bands are already rubbing on your side necks. It should stay in place. or use turtle neck shirt.
