I have three of those sound generating units which seemed to work for some creatures outside, to keep them from chewing on wires in my wife's car. But when power is lost they don't restart. Got this dog/gun sound generating unit and works great but can get a bet annoying. Neighbors commented on unit as well. Our unit doesn't get full sun so I have to charge it sometimes. Would I buy it again? Ya, probably would do so as it is better than the high frequency sound generators, where I have 3, each set at a different frequency.

Works as described. Loud with bright flashing lights. Sensitive to movement. I haven’t relied on Solar charging instead plugging in to charge. Case is solid. I gave 4 Stars because the instructions need more detail and in well-defined sequence.

The volume selections don't fit what we need. The lowest setting is not loud enough. The medium setting is too loud.We wish these had a variable volume setting instead of a 3 step volume setting. That way, we could adjust to the exact volume we desire.

We had an otter problem on our dock, they would climb up the dock eat a fish leave the carcass and poop all over, but now they get scared off before they even can get started. product works great.

We used this noise maker to scare away critters that were leaving a mess every night for us to clean up. It worked for us on raccoons, fox, otters, and mice! In addition to this item, I added a bright white motion sensitive light. I use the feature, B, that activates it only in the dark. The volume level is set in the middle so neighbors aren’t bothered. I’ve purchased five!

These devices are too sensitive and trigger continuously from sunlight and wind with no motion. I have them mounted securely on wood stakes to ensure no movement. There is no adjustment for this either. I had to resort to only having them active at dusk, and even then they will trigger randomly though not continuous. Too bad because the barking dog, gunshots and self recording features are really cool. If the manufacturer can offer a solution that allows me to use 24 hours a day, I will easily update to 5 STARS!
