I rip every pair of sneakers the same way. I don't know how exactly, it's just how I walk. These patches were perfect. I fixed a bunch of sneakers that either had holes, started to look like they might start forming holes, or ones that I wanted to prevent holes.I have been using them for a while now and they have worked great. Saved a few pairs of sneakers that otherwise would have been in the trash by now.

My sister told me about these and I’m soo glad! I was worried they wouldn’t stay, but they have stayed well and so for they haven’t even turned down on any of the edges. I do not even know they are there, so comfortably is top notch! I chose these because the size was perfect for covering the big toe area, and no cutting was necessary. I do not see them through the mesh type top on my Brooks running shoes, which is exactly what I wanted. These are performing up to my standard and worth the money.

I bought sneakers in the Spring, only used on a treadmill, already ripping through fabric by Fall. Treads have no wear to speak of. Patched inside heels and underside of the big toes. I feel a slight edge in the toe area but not enough to bother my workout. The heel is a little more slippery at the patch otherwise wouldn't know it's there. I fixed up my husband's black sneakers one of his pinky toes made a hole straight through. Patch one inside and one outside. When it had a hole it was so obvious, now a quick glance you can't tell there's a patch. The circle adheres over the inside one and stays put, no peeling edge. I thought for sure the outside patch wouldn't stay stuck but surprise it has stayed quite well. Sneaker was clean and rubbed it in with something hard. I told others about these sneaker patches at the STRIDE studio to get more life out of our treadmill sneakers. My work shoes the back is getting roughed up, I'll put a patch over those too.

Doesn't work. Don't waste your money. Shows and then pops off, especially if your active.

As a preemptive protection of a shoe upper from rubbing through, these patches work decently because the toes are constantly pressing them into the inside of the shoe upper. But you would need to know ahead of time that your shoe might have this issue. On the outside of the shoe, however, they do require glue or other adhesive for the best results. This kind of defeats the purpose. You could use any repair material and the glue.

I bought these to prevent rubbing holes in the toes of expensive running shoes, and to repair an older pair that had a hole. I've been using them about six months, and I am really pleased with the results. They are self adhesive (peel off the backing), and they resist sweat and wear/tear on the shoes. I have them installed in four pair of running shoes that I use regularly, and the original patches are in each shoe. I will definitely buy these again when I run out of the supply that I have now.
