Works great if the sides are cut at 90 degrees (the corner joint can be 2 45s making a 90). I was building a box with all sides of the walls are cut in at 45s so the base and the lid would sit inside the top of the box. The bars aren't long enough to far enough inside to really catch. Then when you tried to tighten down it would tend to pinch and slip. Was able to use the 90 brackets with regular clamps and made that work just fine.

Use this for the first time to make some decorations for Christmas was perfect much better than trying to do it by holding it in Vice and with your hand

Got these to help with large project wood working. Once I understood how to connect them, they worked very well. The multiple sizes mean that I will have them for lots of projects - big and small.

The squares are fine but the clamps don't work because the top and bottom are not equal in width causing the sides of tge jewelry box to twist. I had to use the clamps from my steel squares set. I'm thinking of making my own clamps or fixing these.

The variety of claps is a good value but the design of the clamps is bad. The plastic part of the clamp is not the same width from top to bottom so it does not apply even pressure which causes the top of the clamp to tilt inwards. They are usable but the clamps are definitely annoying to use.

I have used them to assemble several drawers and boxes. I even drilled a hole though them so I could screw them in place when I was not near an edge to use the hold down bolts. Once you have a set you will find you needed them more than you thought.

Not square for a start, you can't tighten them too much because the little piece on the outside bends.The 8 nuts you receive for the threaded L rods, only 4 fit, 4 were a totally different size thread (too small)NOT Recommended.
