Your cart is empty.The MGT-1220 12VAC 20VA Class II Power Supply from MG Electronics is a compact transformer that takes in 120VAC, 60Hz, 30W power and outputs 12VAC, 20VA (volt-amperes) with 1666mA of current. It features a standard 2-prong North American type plug for an outlet, and has dual screw terminal outputs to which you connect your wire leads, which in turn plug into any device that uses the designated power rating. The wire can have an open Y-shape connector or simply be a bare wire. Applications include powering alarm systems, gates, thermostats, electric locks, and more.

I have used a couple of these as a low voltage power supply for my front gate entry code pad power source. Flooding wiped out my last one and this was a replacement that was a lot cheaper than the gate company wanted.

The product seems to be performing as advertised. The transformer needs a plate to proper hide/secure any of deposed wire under the screws

This is probably a good transformer, but it didn't work for me because my device required more amps to operate.

I used the two pack to reinvigorate two old Ikea lamps. One worked for a 1/3 hour then died. The other one although performing well has a green LED indicator light that is so bright you could read form it in the dark. I'm hoping they make one without the LED so we can sleep!

It absolutely worked as expected. It's kind of heavy so there might be a good chance you'll need to use the included screw.
