I'm extremely happy with the build of this product, 100% aluminum housing, seals between housing pieces, clamp is solid and fits well. The cover that covers the USB port fits tight (is a deep cover with locking machined square grove), and should seal normal water from washing (maybe NOT pressure washing), rain etc. very well

I picked up two of these for my motorcycles and I've now been sharing the product link to all my friends. High quality build and easy install. I appreciate the magnetic on/off switch built into the front cover.

The USB-C connector on the board was floating, meaning that the connector body wasn't soldered to the board. Only the contact pins were soldered. So, any vibration transmitted to the connector via the USB cable (engine vibration, wind vibration, etc.) gets directly transmitted to the very fragile contact pins. After the first 2000 km, the USB-C charging stopped working. When I opened up the device, I saw this bad design. The contact pins were damaged, and even the pads were lifted of the PCB.

The regular usb seems to work fine, but the usb-c does not work. I wouldn’t waste your time or money on this charger. If you end up buying it anyway, be sure to check the functionality before you install it to save yourself some frustration.

The overall build quality (body, cable, cap, etc.) is really great. I'm surprised how well made it is compared to any other I have seen (and I'm picky and appreciate quality). The cap has a magnet that triggers a cut off in the power of the outlet, so it avoids energy leaks when not in use (I would say that alone sold it to me). Its body is full metal (the cap is rubber/silicon). I'm totally satisfied with this purchase (I believe this is my first review in years of using Amazon). Take note it takes some time to deliver, so be patient or be prepared to pay $35 extra for fast delivery (I did as I needed it ASAP, but it worths waiting for it otherwise).

Die Negativbewertung verstehe ich hier nicht. Ich habe schon das andere Modell mit USB C und USB A und war hiermit sehr zufrieden.Nun, um noch zwei USB A mehr an Bord zu haben, bestellt ich dieses.Nach wie vor alles bestens und sollte irgendwann ein Defekt (Insgesamt nun schon zwei Jahre) Auftauchen werde ich meine Rezensionen selbstverständlich bearbeiten.

El interruptor con imán o no funciona o es non existe. Deja la baterÃa sin carga. Buen aspecto pero no vale para nada.
