I was reluctant but I had to do something to keep the cat from tearing up the furniture. It is way more adhesive than I expected so make sure it’s exactly as you want it before applying. The ease of putting it on is great and very functional.

Very easy to use, good texture that the cats should be able to grip without damaging the wall that it's mounted to. Appearance is nice for what it is, and is certainly better than scuffed or clawed surfaces. The clear wrap on the adhesive section was a bit finicky to get the edge, but once it was free it came away nicely. The adhesive had good grip, and allowed me to readjust it without tearing off any paint, which is more than I can say for other self-adhesive products out there. Good size for the money, I even have a small section leftover I'll have to find a place for.

I like how it said it was sticky and wouldn’t rip paint off the wall. That being said the first night I put it up my cat climbed it and the tape came off the wall. Kittens paws were stuck in the adhesive and now they won’t go near it. I don’t know if it’s a quality thing, a weight thing or I didn’t let it sit long enough.? It seems pretty high quality but I wouldn’t recommend its use for climbing a wall! Now I’m stuck with it. Hoping I can repurpose it! My cats still prefer my carpet and chairs lol

The carpet is pretty much in line with advertising, it just has a cheaper feel to it and lacked the performance I was hoping for. It’s not a bad product; it’s just not “great.â€The adhesive is thin. While it worked relatively well for my application, (padding for a cat wall) I don’t have much confidence in it sticking to anything but a clean solid surface, such as plywood. I was able to reposition, but any dirt/dust/hair significantly dampened its stickiness, so be sure to have a clean and dry surface to adhere to.The carpet itself is 3/16†thick, uncompressed, but squeezes easily down to 1/16â€. It has a high polyester/plastic feel to it so if you’re expecting soft and fluffy, it only sort of delivers. Neither of my cats are interested in sharpening their claws on it, but they also don’t avoid it. They were lying and walking on it within seconds of it going down.It was easy to cut, but have a cleaner handy to clean the residual tack off of your razor or scissors. It wasn’t unexpected but you’re not exactly going to be cutting this all day with scissors. Sharp tools are highly recommended as the carpet short of frays and tears if a dull (or sticky) blade is used.I would probably buy it again, but not as a cat scratching surface or something that I would be in direct and extended contact with.

I was pretty excited to try this. i've had it on wood & on my couch now for 24 hours and most of it, if not all, has fallen off. its not cery adhesive.

Our couches were so torn up from cat scratches - you could see the wood on the corners - this was easy to cut, peel, fold over and apply. I used the little upholstery tacks to put into place - with a house full of kids I didn’t trust the adhesive alone. The brown color was a good shade and blended in so well - we showed some people who are at our home daily and they didn’t even notice the fabric and they said it looked so good that it could easily pass as an intentional part of the couch.

I had three cats scratching posts that were definitely worse for wear. This product was super easy to install. I was able to resurface three cat scratchers and still have product left over. Based on other reviews, I did secure the edges with a staple gun. The cat has used the scratching post several times, and the product seems to be holding up okay. Would definitely buy again.

These are fantastic. I put them up on one of our doors that the cats were scratching at frequently, and not only does it prevent damage to the door, but it also significantly dampens sound! Getting several more for other doors in our house!

Got these to make a wall and they worked great. Didnt measure properly at first so I had to get a 2nd and that was delivered super fast. The sticky backing was great and way stickier than I expected. I got a staple gun just in case but don't think it would be needed. Careful taking down from walls again, definitely will peel paint. Will buy again for future projects for sure. The light color went great with the wall, barely shows.

I thought this would be the perfect ease of installation which it was took seconds. I thought it be great functionality and appearance on my couch, because my cats are always scratching and ruining the ends of my couch. I put it on. It looked great, but after a few days, the glue starts to let go on the scratch pad, so the quality of the glue on the back of the scratch pad is not very strong the appearance you would have to pick a close colour to your furniture. If that’s where you’re putting it looks good. The quality of the scratching pad is good I would recommend the scratching pad for certain areas it’s just not working on my couch, I’m disappointed in that that’s where I really needed it the first couple of pictures show how it’s not sticking to the couch. I wake up every morning re-fixing it.

My cat loved it from the beginning but I don't like how it doesn't stick together. The two cut sides when put together come undone. I actually put gorilla glue on it to keep it on.
