My youngest liked the comfort and ease of adjusting to her preference. It’s very sturdy and useful for other needs instead of just rock climbing. The affordable price is appealing so i bought two more for my children. It’s also unisex to lessen confusion about size and or color.

We used this for my Great Grandma, who had fallen and was unable to walk, to start helping her rebuild the muscles in her legs and relearn how to stand in her Physical Therapy. It worked wonders to help her.

Teaching the kids how to climb trees (used to be one of my things when I was younger). I really didn't have the desire to spend a lot on something before I knew it would be used very much. So to test their interest and enthusiasm before spending 10X the price of this on a nice saddle, I was fortunate enough to come across this one. It fits my 100lb 10yo son, my 85lb 12yo girl...and even my 200+lb half century old donut and ribs eating rear end. Plenty sturdy enough for any one of us to safely explore climbing techniques, equipment and knots. If it (miraculously) sucks the boy outta the Matrix and becomes something he or the girl wants to persue...I'll spring for a higher dollar and more comfortable saddle. He managed to pull himself 15 feet up on his own so far and says he feels fine in it. From experience I know that this isn't the type of saddle that would be comfortable for extended periods of time hanging around in (and trimming big oaks trees for a couple/few hours). But for what we're doing with it, it's perfect. The girl hasn't tried it yet, but I have no doubt it'll work just fine for her too.The main points are that it fits a wide range of sizes, is comfortable enough to put your entire weight into for at least a fair amount of time, and (most importantly) is constructed with enough quality materials and techniques to entrust your life with. I worked at a destructive testing labratoryfor a while as a machinist, but learned about how these straps are tested and rated. Judging by not only the weight rating given, but the size, material and how they're sewn, I have no doubt that they'd hold up better than my own spine under a falling load. I wouldn't put my kids more than 3' off the ground in any equipment I didn't think I myself would be safe 300' off the ground in. Anything that happens 3' and below? Well...that's called "What did u learn?" Now...if they wanna free climb a tree barehanded..they can climb as high as they want. Danger and self realization of mortality...the best teacher there is in life.

The harness seems tough and secure. The materials and construction appears to be legit. I will also say that the lack of padding will make this harness get pretty uncomfortable if you are wearing it for long periods of time. However, if you are new to climbing there are things that you might not notice lead me to be weary of this harness:First, in the harnesses made by well-known brands there is a tie in loop for the waist band AND leg loops. In other words, there are TWO tie-in loops. This harness has only ONE tie in loop.Second, the images used in the product description depict climbers that ARE NOT using this harness. If you reverse image search these images you will find that they are stock images of climbers. This is highly misleading.Again, this harness appears to be solid, but you want to trust your life AND the life of the person you are belaying to a cheap harness that uses deceptive advertising?

I got my husband and I each one of these for a crazy canyoneering trip and let me tell you, these are nice. I strapped myself in, it was easy, and then tried to rappel off a cliff but actually fell. The stitching held, I didn't die, it caught me and I didn't fall to my death. 10/10 recommend. Can't beat it for the price.

Purchased this to use while cleaning the slanted glass roof of a 4-season room that is about 14’ off the ground. Cleaning agents and water make it dangerously slippery so it rarely got thoroughly done. This harness provides peace of mind. It’s well made and easy to don and adjust. Comfortable. Fits my 150# frame and my husband’s 250# frame. Has an accessory loop to attach cleaning supplies which leaves both hands free. Wish I’d bought one years ago!

I got this for my climbing partner so I’ve never worn it. I ordered this so she didn’t have to buy a rental anymore. There’s nothing wrong with the harness itself and it is good value. But she said it is very uncomfortable in the groin area when her full weight is held on the harness. She didn’t have that issue with rental harnesses.
