This is a great mirror - if you can assemble it without breaking it. The mirror is convex both across and up and down. The pole is very flexible yet keeps the position you put it in. The clamp is strong, holding the pole tightly to whatever you clamp it to. The product is shipped with the mirror separate from the pole and you must force the ball at the end of the pole into the socket on the mirror - without snapping the plastic socket. I was not able to do that on the 1st one. So I returned it and Amazon shipped me a 2nd. I was successful with that one and love it.

Broke no instructions. Requested, another one. I am requesting another one again.Please make sure all parts are in the box. I have co-workers that have order similar mirrors with all parts included.I like the camera so I am praying it comes complete. I tried to replace it again but was not able to. So, I returned it and will re-order again. I hope I am not disappointed.

In my work, my station faces a wall with my team members behind me. We also have folks entering the room where I can't see and people sneak up behind me sometimes. So I added a clip on mirror, which is great but offers a limited field of view.Then i found this mirror that is wide-angle because of the convex shape. It's like a blind spot mirror for a car. This works great, with a much wider field of vision.If you see the picture you can see this mirror on top, which is slightly smaller but we can see much more.The clip is nice and strong and the flexible boom is long and can be placed in a number of different positions.I'm very happy with this mirror and would get another without hesitation.
