I’ve owned a dozen of these over the years. They’re the greatest tool for threading elastic into a casing or a scrunchie! Excellent for drawstrings. I ve only purchased more because I lost mine or gave them as gifts!

I have used many different gadgets to insert elastic including safety pins. I have sewn for more than 50 years and this is my new favorite way to insert cording and elastic.

Bodkin holds fabric/elastic very tightly. Super easy to use. I used it mostly to hold elastic to feed thru narrow channel. I have many different bodkins, but this one is my go to for most projects. Clip is easy to push down and release. It’s long enough, but sometimes a longer bodkin would beneficial. Quality product. Highly recommend. Easy to use if you have arthritis.

This was easy to use. It has a tight grip on the elastic and it went the the fabric casing very smooth even where the seams meet at.

After having used a safety pin as a bodkin for many years, I finally decided to get myself a real bodkin to see if it works better than the safety pin. Yes it does! The bodkin's clamp is very strong and doesn't let the elastic slip out half way through the job. It glides smoothly through the casing and because it's longer than the safety pin, it can thread elastic through the waistline casing in about half the time .

i work with fabric and leather, and using a lil tool such as this helps ease the pain of trying to thread paracord thru the tunnel for drawstring pouches... ty for your time :)

If you work with elastic, string, or anything that needs to go through a tube, get this!!! It's made my projects go more smoothly.After seeing some YouTube videos about this but couldn't find it locally I turned to good ol' Amazon.It said it would take about a month to get to me as it shipped from the UK at the time of purchasing but it only took about a week. Great service and so glad I bought it.
