The Roll & Press by Joan Hawley is a convenient and quick way to press seams at the sewing machine. Roll to press a seam or fold. Straight, curved, or paper pieced seams. It won't pull or distort fabric; the wheel is tapered to focus pressure on the seam. Comfortable, ergonomic handle. Perfect for paper-piecing or laminates; also use to seal glued seams on leather and felt.

I’m not sure where this has been all my life, but I’m sure loving it now. Such a simple little tool but boy does it come in handy. No more going to the ironing board to press open small seams. This does it perfectly! Highly recommend if you are a sewer/quilter like me.

I was destroying my nails doing "finger pressing" when sewing, so this roller does a great job of instantly pressing a seam FLAT right at my machine. And for those super-thick seams on bags, I use this to roll them flatter, which helps them sew much easier. Very light and easy to use. I use it on everything - cotton, vinyl, canvas, etc.

It’s amazing how a small tool can make a huge difference In quilting pieces. No need to plug in iron (unless doing large pieces).

It's a handy tool, when you don't have fingernails for creasing.

Small enough for easy storage, well made, light weight, very well priced for product. Easier to use than getting iron out to press seams and especially those fabrics not responding well to an iron.

This seam roller works fantastic!! I'd been a fan of Clover products for many years, so naturally I wanted this one. However I came across the other brand's roller that was less expensive and had way more reviews(it was a wooden roller). So I bought both to see which one would work better for me. I use this for making clothing, bags/pouches/wallets, and quilting. The result?? Clover won big time!!! I mean, really, a huge difference between the two. The other brand's wooden roller was not smooth at all, and it didn't press well, so using my fingernail to press the seam worked better than the wooden one. I honestly think other brands were sold more only because they were cheaper. My suggestion for you is spend extra dollars for this Clover's roller and be satisfied with the result.

I have this sitting beside me all the time when patchworking. Flattens the seams beautifully.

Uno di quegli aggeggini che sembrano stupidi ma nn lo sono. Per appiattire le cuciture se nn vuoi passarle con il ferro da stiro. Utilissimo

I had my doubts that this could possibly work but it does. My sewing room is in the basement but my iron and ironing board are on the 2nd floor of our house so I spent a lot of time running up and down stairs to press seams, etc. I figured I'd give this notion a try for quick pressing of small areas. I was so surprised by how well this works. I've had it for over 2 years now and use it all the time.
