This was not a good purchase. It lasted one good day, the second it cut in and out. Regardless the sound quality was like listening in a can. It wasn't expensive, but still not worth the time nor money

I work at a performing arts center, and we house managers use two-way radios to communicate during performances, and also for many tasks we do outside the performance. I had said for our radios is vital, as you don't want a radio going off in the middle of the performance hall while the symphony is on stage playing. :) We didn't have enough headsets to go with our radios, so I ordered this one. The sound is quite clear, and the earpiece is comfortable. The assembly with the microphone trigger is easier to operate than on the headsets we already had. The only point I took off was because of two factors. The way the wiring is run, from the plug to the trigger, then up to the earpiece is a little more awkward than the inline design of the other headsets. Also, this one does not have a clip, for a fixing the wiring to a shirt collar or some other article of clothing. For some people, this will not be an issue. They will be wearing the radio on their belt in a place where the clip on the trigger housing is adequate. For me, it's a little different. I wear the radio in the small of my back, and run the wires up over my shoulder to the trigger, which clips onto my necktie. A clip was needed where the wires run next to my neck, so they wouldn't slide down and over my shoulder. Fortunately, I was able to fashion a quite effective one. It would be nice if the headset came with one, in case it is needed. However, this is not a deal breaker. It is a quite good microphone, and I would buy it again.
