I have spent years trying to find the correct check key for my 40-year-old drill press. I thought I found the correct one, and again, it did not work and was not worth the cost to ship it back for a refund. I used a micrometer, and measured the tapered shaft, and lined it up with the description, and this chuck fit absolutely perfect. I am now a happy camper.
