Like someone else mentioned, after installing this, the sound ports on my main board started working again, so it fixed my problem. Dell Dimension E-310 Win XP SP 3. Unless I figure out how to disable the audio ports on the main board, I won't be able to use this card. But, no real reason to do that.

Disappointed. This card didn't fit any of the PCIe slots in my desktop. x4 or x16. I doubt it fits any other PCIe slots that I know of. All have the space between pins #11 and #12 mechanically blocked with for a slot in the card at this location.This card did not have that slot. I researched PCIe slots after I received the card. ....too late.

Bought this so I can use my joystick on an old windows 98 machine. Installed easy enough and the sound worked in windows and DOS. However, I could not get any joystick to work. Turns out the port is there, but not wired in on the board. Returned it and bought a used card from ebay.

Bought this card for an old win 98 computer in my shop, everything worked with the computer except the audio, installed this card but it didnt work. BUT the driver for the card caused my internal (mother board) audio now works, but the card will not work.
