My Cat 5e and Cat 6 keystone jacks fit perfectly. One side of the jacks has a small lip and the opposite side has a large retaining clip. They inserted the easiest when I put the small lip in first and then rotated the large clip in. The jacks are held firmly in place, but they are still removable.

I had to use random quantity of keystone all over the house. Had to use this in my entertainment center and another in my home office area. Easy to install on a low voltage wall plate. The keystone jacks sits flush and snug.

I would have rated this 5 stars but am knocking off one star because, out of the box, these don't fit commonly available "old work" outlet boxes (due to interference between reinforcement around screw holes and box tabs). There is also a bit of interference between the inside curved edge of the outlet plate and the tabs on the outlet boxes. A little bit of knife and/or die grinder or sander work on both cover and box solves the problem so the cover plate fits flush against the wall.

Make sure you file down the clip on the network jack prior to installation. Otherwise, it is a real hassle to get them out, especially since it is hard to get your fingers and a screwdriver between all the other jacks. Plate works fine.

I bought the item on speculation that it might fit a very, very old Bell Canada phone jack. It arrived in 2 days. Great! It doesn't fit. Not great. If it did, the cost would have been worth it.
