Installation Instructions
- Mark and drill 4x holes using a drill bit.
- Insert the 4 heavy-duty dowels (or screws), if necessary use a hammer.
- To attach the wall mount bracket: unscrew nuts and washers; align the bracket holes to the screws.
- Tighten the nuts and washers to secure the bracket.

You can adjust in your driveway. Very clear and functional. Size is very good you can see well. Weight is lightly heavy.

Attachment arm would be better if it allowed for rotation/ more flexibility in mounting angles and applications, but mirror is holding up to rain and sun, so far. My application is to use it in the field of view of an outward facing security camera. This allows me to zoom & see what's going on behind and to the rear sides of the camera without adding more cameras (for example to confirm that the garage door is closed or if someone/ something is right up against the garage door in a blind spot for the camera). Cheaper and simpler than adding cameras.

This review is for the "CNQLIS 8 Inch Convex Mirror Outdoor with Adjustable Wall Fixing Bracket".It was not obvious to me from the Amazon description that the mounting brackets for this mirror is PLASTIC. I had wrongly assumed that it was metal (steel) and could be reformed to hold the mirror in a different orientation from its typical use angle. As it is, I'm going to need to build my own bracket to use this mirror where it is needed.

Backing out of my driveway on a busy state road was only a small problem for me. I became vigilant and overly careful. However, my guests were reckless zombies with flimsy compact vehicles, ignorant and carefree of the consequences that backing out into traffic on a state road, at the bottom of a steep hill where truckers likely experiencing low blood sugar speed down with no intention of stopping for the clueless compact cars driven by out of state zombies. We have experienced zero collisions and guest injuries since installing this mirror.
