These wire wheels will wear out quickly, if you use them as aggressively as I do in my shop. However, I expect them to be effective, and with multiple items in the package a replacement is ready at hand.

yes, they shed wire strands, but at this price, who cares? just wear eye protection and you'll survive. 15pcs will last a long time for most hobbyists. well worth it for the price.

These work well but they’re brittle. Wear eye protection and sweep up after you’re done. I have come away with splinters in my feet and that’s no fun. This happens at the lowest rotary speeds and short duration duty cycle. Carbon steel works better but is also brittle in a different way- still have the splinter issue and a contamination issue with carbon steel. It’s all about heat management no matter which wheel you use and what you use it on. I use this on copper, silver and nickel. The value is good.

I bought these for cleaning up an old lathe - milling machine. Specifically the T slots and other tight areas. Initially they were too large a diameter to fit, but after a little use on more open areas the diameter had reduced to that which fit and they cleaned the T slots perfectly. See before and after photo. As with any wire brush these shed wires which in turn fly off in every direction so wear safety glasses when using them, I could feel wires hitting me in my arms and face. I worked them pretty hard and they held up well. Perfect for my needs.

Poor quality, they lose their bristles with minimal use. I have gone through four in half the time I went through one better quality brush. Will not be purchasing again
