Put in the directions for those people who said there's doesn't come with directions. Very easy straightforward and very frustrating to put on but that's dude to human error. Great product tonight I'm going to turn the lights on in the house and see what it looks like from outside so hopefully I can update this. All I do is wash the window with Windex and then spray a ton of water take off the back stick it on. Use this stuff before in another house and it lasted for a couple years yeah some of it doesn't lay down exactly flat but it stays up. I am no pro at this but it looks great even though if you can't get it to lay down and you have a couple bubbles

I bought this to eliminate the glare on my TV/computer screen during the afternoon sun. I ordered the black thinking it would be more effective. While it does cut down significantly on the glare, heat and sun bleaching effects, it's not enough to completely eliminate the glare on the screen. I read another review that stated that the film along with sheer curtains took care of the glare, so I imagine I'll try that too. You can still see outside with the black no problem but it does make the room darker, with the lighter backing I wonder if it would be even less effective with the glare? Someone else can comment on that. However, it is easy to put up, get help with larger windows, can be a little unwieldy. other reviews mention squeegeing with the peel off film placed on top to prevent scratching, which you don't see until you finish and then see it from the side. Also, cut a bit (1/4" - 1/2") larger in case measurements are off or window isn't perfectly square, otherwise you'll get clear strips of window where it doesn't fit all the way to the edge. You can trim off the excess with a razor or exacto knife to complete. Overall, pretty happy, but I still need sheer curtains on top.

I'll say up front that I'm a huge fan of window film. We had a few hot windows at home and I used film that I bought from H0m3D3p0t, which worked perfectly. It instantly cut down dramatically on the heat entering the house, while at the same time maintaining a perfect view out the window.This stuff does a good job with the former, but not the latter, which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. I used it on a hot window at the office and, while it does cut down quite a bit on the amount of light, it is very hazy to look through.Pros:Cuts down significantly the light and heat entering the building.Thicker than the big box store brand, so it was easier to install.Con:Really lousy to see through. Objects outside appear hazy/fuzzy.

This was easy to measure and apply to the windows . They do just what they say they do. I an go out and look at my windows from outside and I cannot see inside. From inside I can look out and be shielded from harsh sunlight that beams in my windows constantly. This is a cost effective and no mess to deal with to have privacy and heat protection too.I like this product.

The window film was very easy to install once I figured out how to do it. I used a credit card, box cutter, and water in a spray bottle. Took about 15 minutes or so to get it all up on two 26x35†windows.I definitely recommend having a helper to keep the film from rolling while trying to place in window. My teen daughter held the room and I did the rest.For $8 It’s a great and cheap way to reduce heat and as some privacy to her room. I highly recommend this!!I need to add it’s obviously not the best quality but for the price and effectiveness it looks really nice and does do a fantastic job at blocking light.

It’s okay. It does block the sun but it creases very easy. Overtime is does start to come off and you have to reapply.

Vivo en departamento al sur de la CDMX y tengo una ventana enorme en la estancia, el calor era muy intenso dentro de la estancia por las mañanas (30 grados) ya que le da directo el sol a las ventanas, desde que instalé estos y en conjunto con mis cortinas blackout (que gracias a esta pelÃcula ya no se van a decolorar más por cierto) la temperatura es muy agradable (20-22) y puedo abrir las cortinas en el dÃa sin que me vean de afuera para adentro, incluso en las noches es mucho más difÃcil de ver aún con las luces encendidas de afuera hacia adentro, se ven las sombras. La luz natural entra muy bien aún y refleja mucho menos en la TV.Para instalarlas necesitas limpiar muy bien antes tus ventanas o donde las vayas a colocar, algo con que medir, mucha agua en las ventanas, recomiendo que utilices un atomizador, en mi caso no utilicé jabón solo agua, un limpiador de ventanas (tipo mini jalador para retirar burbujas y que no se note la pelÃcula instalada), un trapo para secar el exceso de agua después de colocarlas, un cutter o tijeras para hacer los cortes necesarios (corta exacto al tamaño de tu ventana o medio cm más en cada lado y cualquier exceso es fácil cortarlo ya que lo colocaste con el cutter) y no retires el plástico protector antes de cortar, una superficie limpia y grande para hacer los cortes asà como algo un poco pesado (qué no las maltrate obviamente) solo para que no se te muevan las pelÃculas cuando estés cortándolas ya que esté es el paso más complicado de todo el proceso; Para colocarlas después de cortar necesitarás las ayuda de otra persona para retirar el plástico que las protege y no maltratar la pelÃcula con dobleces innecesarios y también hace más rápida la instalación para que no se seque el agua que coloques en las ventanas justo antes de instalarlas.Recomiendo que las instales cuando las ventanas están frÃas aún, en la mañana o por la tarde cuando no les de directo el sol, eso facilita un poco la instalación ya que no se evapora el agua tan rápido y no están incómodas al toque de tus manos.

Easy to install. Good quality. Keeps glare out. Good privacy protection during the day. But be careful during installation. It gets scratched easily. Also be careful while doing cleaning over time.
