I purchased this for myself for my new Kindle. It is a perfect fit. The back is a hard protective case and the cover allows it to go to sleep. The cover also folds back easily for convenience. It is so slim being less than 1/2 in thick and little to no added weight. You can slide into your purse or bag knowing the case is keeping it protected.

I am usually a kindle purist. No covers, basic lightest model. I like my coffee black and my books plentiful. I have read on a kindle for so many years without cases. (Way back to the kindle keyboard!) After moving to a home without carpet and only hard wood and tile floors, my beloved kindle kept getting knocked to the floor by a rambunctious 7 year old and my new kindle was taking a beating. In hopes to protect the longevity of my recent kindle upgrade gift to myself, I opted for this cover. It was cost effective, a pleasant color and seemed to snap on the edges of the device instead of covering it making it bulkier (in my opinion). I was hesitant to be honest....I don't like cases on my kindle, it would be heavier (I thought), it would be bulky, I wouldn't like it. I kept the packaging just in case I wanted to return it.After using this cover for a while now, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. When you flip the cover back to read, it gives a nice thin "thing" to hold on to when holding the kindle. It has a nice feel, soft surface and is very comfortable in your hand. It doesn't feel much heavier. The magnet does well to keep the cover closed and it does wake/sleep using the cover. It also provides a good edge to the bottom of the kindle. This version (11) had a power button that sticks out more than the previous version (10), so when I would place it in my foldable stand without this case, it would turn on/off with its weight pushing the button. This case prevents that since the edge of the case is the same height as the button on the bottom. Win! Win!It seems to have enough protection when it falls now, at least you hear a dull thud instead of a plastic on wood floor crash. Hopefully it will stand up to daily use of reading with my coffee black several times a day.

I bought a Kindle cover from a different company and was very disappointed. Warped cover, ragged edges, a couple gouges in the spine. I returned it. Based on my previous experience I didn't know what to expect from this one which actually cost less. I was really surprised and very happy when I got it. The cover is flat and flawless and heavy enough to close firmly. My Kindle slid easily into the clamshell back and fits snugly. The magnetic closure is perfect. If the edges of the cover feel a tiny bit rough (somebody mentioned that in a review here) you can smooth them with a light rub of a pumice stone or nail file. This is first rate product and well worth the price. Thanks, CoBak!

I absolutely love my new kindle 🤠It’s so compact, looks adorable, and best of all: I can finally read books during my commutes or before bed without blue light or getting motion sick (which were HUGE problems for me when I’d try to read books on my phone).It’s compatible with Libby which I love! I love physical books but this takes the cake since it won’t get crinkled like a traditional book, and it gets expensive to constantly buy books and bookshelves 😅Overall, I’m very pleased with this, and it’s got a good magnetic grip on the case I bought for it.Highly recommend!— Zahori

I bought the version of this case for my old kindle a few years ago. It's taken quite a hammering! I read a great deal and to be honest, the case has lasted better than the kindle it holds!A snug fit, not heavy and protects the reader well. The magnet is still strong and sleep/wake function works perfectly. When I bought my new kindle, I was expecting to be able to continue using the case. IT DIDN'T FIT!! Imagine my delight when I discovered Final make the equivalent case for the NEW machine!Comparing the two, I was surprised at how similar they look, despite the years of hard work the old one has done! Both fit their respective machines beautifully, from experience, that means very secure giving great protection from daily use. Comfortable to hold too. Overall, I'm anticipating great things from my new case. Years of service and still looking good. Let's see if this one outlasts the kindle it's here to protect!I heartily recommend this Cobak case for your kindle. At this price, the quality is great and, in my experience far outshines it's competition!
