Very consistent product the 1st product that's in this price point for this amount. This is regular biochar this is not inoculated with microbes are anything but thats easy to do with some recharge or mykos to add to it to make it even better. However it went right into my soil and made it very fluffy and loamy good stuff I'll be buying again and again

I loved the size, texture of this charcoal. It’s so small I can easily mix this within my soil mixture or add along the top of my plants. This is pure charcoal so I know my plants will receive the full benefits . Charcoal is excellent for filtering chemicals, toxins and keeping the soil clean and when added along the top of the soil it keeps away those pesky gnats.

Biochar is amazing, but please read! You must charge the biochar before adding it to your soil / your plants, otherwise the biochar will rob the nutrients from your soil. Mix one part biochar to four to five parts really good organic compost. If you dont make it, buy it. Let this mixture sit in a covered container for three to four weeks minimum, keeping it as moist as a wrung-out sponge. You can also add kelp to this mixture for more nutrients. The biochar will absorb the nutrients. Once ready to use mix it into your soil and with every new planting. If you make your own compost, you can add it directly to your pile as a carbon and it will be ready to use when your compost is ready. The nutrients and beneficial enzymes will multiply exponentially and it improve water retention in your soil. The results are incredible. You only have to apply it once, as the biochar will remain in the soil for many decades. Educate yourself about biochar. Look it up. Read about it. The results will amaze you. I've purchased biochar from different suppliers. It is expensive. The three bag offer from Bliss is a good value--three for $27 as of this writing. If you have a large garden, you could buy a 40 to 50 lb bag from Persist, which a great value. I have now added compost with biochar to every part of my garden and it looks like paradise. I did not get paid for this review. : )

We purchased this brick style coco coir to use with our composting toilet in a small camper. From reviews, it seemed it would be easier to hydrate than the small puck style. It hydrates really well and is easy to use. I’m thinking it might work well to store in a plastic container but right now we have it wrapped in a trash bag.

Though the listing showed you'll receive three eight quart bags for a total of 24 but the product actually arrived in one single non-resealable 24 quart, it's a very high quality and ideal size.Perfect for use to inoculate and add to a garden (don't add directly to avoid nutrient absorption), to supplement a compost bin, or for us to add to the chicken run that we scoop and use to supplement the garden. Also great for chicken health if they choose to eat any.
